I was with him somewhat until this nonsense that he spewed in his comment:

Planet resources dying is an extremely huge problem, you almost wonder if having a bunch of huge data collection corporations that waste massive amounts of water, for the sake of so called protection of national security might be a probem... that being said, 64 bit is not at all a problem if people would use some common sense in the design.

Not that ram has to be a problem, its just that  efficiency is not valued enough on making all technology work efficiently.

Controlling everything seems to be many times more times important in tech sector, which may very well destroy the planet at some point.

Even Debian, has a lot of this, it is though at least good they have become more reasonable, but yeah, that person who replied to you, has an ego that makes me shiver.

to be honest.. devuan has lack of manpower.. that's is a fact and is a good leadeership response to reconice that! but why ?

every time someone says that something is wrong as it works for the Veterans blah blah blah they assume that everyone does too..

don't worry... I still use devuan... of course only what works because for desktop it doesn't

This prompted me to have a look at the bug tracker, but I can't even figure out how to find any relevant bug reports, which perhaps disqualifies me before I even started. All the packages I looked at simply say "There is no maintainer for [package]. This means that this package no longer exists (or never existed). Good intentions without action bears no fruit.  He who seeks, finds.  You are most welcome to offer solutions to posts on this forum or perhaps fix a bug.  Only you know your skillset and abilities and can choose to offer them to the community.

Although it would be awesome if devuan had enough devs to maintain devuan without needing to fork debian.

Not the reality yet though, but someday maybe!

another of my proposal was make the trinity desktop the default in devuan but as aways rejected and without interes

The reson given was that the TDE build sould run iside the devuan buildbot environment. As there is not enough manpower to do this (and from the TDE side there's no need to do this) it will not happen in the "near" future.

Well to be honest, my favorite DE is Lumina Desktop.

And my favorite overall desktop whether it be window manager or desktop environment...

i3-wm

I like the fact its lightweight, easy to modify keybindings, etc...

And it has a status bar and it focuses on minimalism in general. But not too minimalistic... like dwm.

Trinity is based on an old version of qt3.

So...  yeah,

Trinity can easily survive without KDE.

trinity are away of KDE now.. a lot.. inclusivelly begins a muslc integration (very poor but there is).. in fact there's some plans to tqt3 (that you named qt3) integrates to qt4 and qt5 (partially right now with qt4)
