I use nicotine, amule and tixati.

Nicotine in particular defaults to GTK4, but the author kindly provided an option to switch back to GTK3 in form of environment variable:

NICOTINE_GTK_VERSION="3"

Alternatively, to enable full support of GTK4 themes:

NICOTINE_LIBADWAITA="1"

Amule crashed for me constantly when I was using MX, but seems to be fine on Devuan.

You don't have to give them personal information, and you'll only be storing something that you're already making publically available. It either has to be on somebody else's computer or on yours.

I've used transmission for downloading, but when I wanted to seed an iso, I used qBittorent.

Make a dropbox account, upload the iso there and use that to seed instead of your computer at home. (Pretty sure that's what I did. Still on my first cup of coffee this morning, so I could be remembering wrong,)

as for why ... to leech books , if you strip me down to the core , you will find a bookworm nerd , i know it's bad but resisting book when i can read it away is kinda hard for me

I don't want to use sourceforge, to make my iso available.
Offering a torrent - wants my real ip, to work from home...naaa..
I am interested in the p2p kinda thing...as no one needs to register or
get bashed with ads & sh*t.

So I ask...politely, what folks are using...maybe why, also.

#1: Using the I2p network, I already have my files hosted on my: miyoisomix.i2p website,
i2p, also has its own anon torrent client {i2psnark} & tracker {postman.i2p},
...and already has been served.

#2: Came across tribler - looks like a good compromise. Might install to test!?

#3: *bittorrent - No anonymity for me or you! (I'm still looking into alternatives)
