			<description><![CDATA[<p>Noticed kernel 5 is finally making its way into Debian, in experimental.&#160; I need kernel 5 for regression bugs in regards to my asus netbook power management (no battery power interface).</p><p><a href="https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=all&amp;arch=amd64&amp;searchon=names&amp;keywords=linux-image-5" rel="nofollow">https://packages.debian.org/search?suit … ux-image-5</a></p><p>Downloaded linux-image-5.0.0-trunk-amd64-unsigned_5.0.2-1~exp1_amd64.deb.&#160; Then: </p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>dpkg -i linux-image-5.0.0-trunk-amd64-unsigned_5.0.2-1~exp1_amd64.deb</code></pre></div><p>If you choose to do this, please realize this means the experimental kernel will now be your default&#160; boot kernel.</p><p>Yes, I know; a crude install of .deb from experiment.&#160; My intent with this post is to report that Kernel 5 is available and appears to be stable, atleast from my limited testing.&#160; </p><p>All is well here, running fine.</p>]]></description>
