			<description><![CDATA[<p>I found the autoremove is pretty useful for a lot of lib packages. <br />For gui&#039;s and desktop interfaces.. well lets just say some are more bloated and&#160; chalked full of dependencies than others. <br />I have sheer broken cinnamon on mint because of this. <br />I&#039;ve also ended up booting to console all thanks to auto remove <img src="https://dev1galaxy.org/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" />.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>What&#039;s your take?<br />Do you blindfold trust it?</p><p>Last&#160; couple of months, it gave me some questionable results.<br />I&#039;ll give you an example:</p><p>1) I ran &quot;apt autoremove&quot;&#160; (as root) -&gt; no results.<br />2) I installed playonlinux.<br />3) It trigger the installation of cabextract, python-wxgtk3.0 and python-wxversion.</p><p>4) after playing some days, I uninstalled it.<br />5) I gave &quot;apt autoremove&quot;&#160; (and answered &quot;Y&quot;) and uninstalled the packages cabextract and libmspack0.</p><p>As one can see:<br />a) It failed to detect the python-wxgtk3.0 and python-wxversion packages and<br />b) It uninstalled libmspack0 that neither installed by playonlinux, nor was previously detected by &quot;apt autoremove&quot;.</p><p>Ehm...I fell that I&#039;m missing something!&#160; <img src="https://dev1galaxy.org/img/smilies/roll.png" width="15" height="15" alt="roll" /></p><p>PS. ASCII is my 1st Devuan installation. I was on Debian till the Jessie release.</p>]]></description>
