Some bios could be switched with an assimilable hook (disassembling reassembling the new bios) but i dont know where you can find one part. Is you bios an EPROM, what is the reference ?

I bought my motherboard in 2012 and never had these messages. One month ago I downloaded and installed the most recent bios for this mobo and now my Devuan is stuck 2 minutes at boot with a bunch of these ACPI errors. The system runs fine after that but I wonder if I will not install my previous bios.

I've been getting this forever, with any distro I've tried.
And on an older, very different rig: a Sun Ultra24 WS on Intel Q9550 w/8Gb:

By now, it seems to be a standard issue warning about a kernel whatever that will not ever be fixed because it's (apparently) harmless.
See they have the same (20160831/psargs-359) and (20160831/psparse-543) tags.

Linux has quite a few of those and ACPI/crap BIOS combos are probably one of the main culprits.

@Sevilla.Larry Those and other kinds of ACPI parsing complaints are typically nothing to worry about. Just copy the error messages into a web search tool, and browse a few of the discussions it will find to learn some more.

I'm new to Devuan.

PC specs
MB Asus P8H61-M LX
CPU Intel i5-2500
RAM 8Gb

I installed devuan_ascii_2.0.0_amd64_netinst.iso on the said PC.

every time I start-up, it gives the ff error msg (twice):
