You can find the client in the Devuan repos. From backports even a slightly newer version than in stable.

When trying to install the Owncloud client for Debian 9 (https://download.opensuse.org/repositor … _amd64.deb), I get the following output from dpkg...

I was under the impression that Devuan/Ascii WAS Debian/9/Stretch MINUS systemd. I've installed this client on an actual Debian 9 system and it
installs perfectly... These appear to be qt5-related libs, which is kinda weird, as I chose the KDE/Plasma5 DE choice when installing Devuan. These
libs *should* already be there. After these errors, if I do an "apt-get -f install", which generally fixes dpkg dependancy problems, it offers to remove "owncloud-client"....

Help!
