As to having my own forum...to be honest, I don't have the time. I work 6 days a week and work crazy hours at that. Between work and trying to have a family life, there's not much time for much else. That's also why Miyo only includes Devuan repositories...if anything ever happened to me, users wouldn't lose a thing, and they could keep using it. I try to pop in here as I'm able, but sometimes others have had to answer questions about Miyo for me when I haven't checked in...for which I'm extremely grateful.

There is a "Derivatives" section here on the forum that you could use if you have any questions about Miyo or any of the other Devuan derivatives.

palemoon isn't easy to apt-get (wget i guess) - took it off usb to include here.

it's not tooo tuff for a new -point&click- user, that learnt afew terminal commands!
not enough for me tho, but a good learning tool.

never knew or used - openbox, conky, compton, etc.. so i'll probly brake many things
and re-install many times...

gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad

Had a similar situation getting Pragha to play (Pragha isn't in the repositories)...

Can't help with the hotkeys...sorry.

VLC sound works, increase/decrease level.
Palemoon plays videos with sound.

Hotkeys for laptop do not work.
Sound Icon on Panel has no effect.
Quod Libet has no sound.

I don't know about sound issues/config's or ?
