By the looks of it, it's all set up perfectly fine, and renewal should have happened nicely and smoothly already last month. It didn't. As the "certbot" is something opaque in too many lines of python, it's become a matter of tracing it more tightly for the next time...

I got an expired certificate, and as HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) was applied, no access to the forum for a while.

Is anyone admitting to an oops?
