I actually have tried this OS and given it a quick spin. It's quite complicated and seems to have a ways to go if it wants to be anywhere near parity with BSD or GNU systems. However, I think their devs daily drive the system. So, with enough knowledge, my guess is one could daily drive this OS now; so they have come a long way.

In my experience, it has a very steep learning curve. It was an enjoyable/interesting experience however.

Hey, y'all! I just wanted to introduce you to my new project that started out as a fork of NetbootCD (to which I'm a contributor). The differences between the original and my version is my version is x86_64 (amd64) only and supports both BIOS and UEFI booting. With that said, it was created to download one single disk image and use that to install multiple Linux distros from that single image. The ISO is a hybrid so it can be burned to a physical optical disk or directly written to a USB. There are two versions, one without wireless networking support (in case RAM is limited as it boots to that) and one with. Anyway, enough blabbering, here's a link to my Github project page. Let me know what you think.

https://github.com/spcwingo/netbootcd-neo

HexChat's GTK3 Successor: ZoiteChat

Hi all, I have been using Zoitechat since It was posted here. I upgraded from 2.17.4 to 2.18.0 pre5 about a week ago now and it is working very well, version 2.18.0 pre5 supports gtk3 theme switching. There is a bug with the spell check underlining which the dev knows about and is working on it.

I'm using the Appimage on Devuan, but also testing the Snap build as well. Of course I don't think Snaps will be much of an interest here.

recent Ceres dependency

Dependency showed last week when upgrading from mpv-0.40.0-3+deb13u1 to mpv-0.41.0-2+b2. The mpv upgrade caused libpipewire to be upgraded which, in turn, caused libspa-0.2-modules to be upgraded.

Found a problem when checking what was to be installed. Also found a temporary solution: mpv's dependency on libpipewire is >= 1.0.4, which means upgrading libpipewire (which causes libspa-0.2-modules to be upgraded) wasn't required. Temporary solution is the older versions of libpipewire and libspa-0.2-modules shown below, remain installed and on hold.

Pkg versions and new Ceres dependency below.
