Pretty sure you could insert comment blocks /**/ instead of relying on spaces as separators. So disabling spaces might not make much difference, in the grand scheme of things, though in my opinion, they should be disallowed.

I had a look for known CVEs and only found an earlier SQL injection, relating to a different script, but admittedly didn't look very hard...

Like the title says, not a big deal but here it is.

Default color for the forum when not logged in is purpy. Yet the favicon shown on the browser tab is blue. And on the login page it also has another instance of the logo, this time in yellow.

Can we pick a color and sync these things up?

usable as no JS or JS disabled.
even users able to register without have to enable JS;
bravo; there is no captcha.

Wow, thirty minutes! I had no idea I was leaving my posts unfinished for that long. I often pause to look up references, test things in the terminal, etc. before posting, as I want to make sure my posts are accurate. It's easy to get sidetracked.

I understand the reasons for the time limit, and the desire to keep the site code simple. I wouldn't say it's a major inconvenience, I was just offering up another data point.

Do any other users have concerns about logging in through an insecure portal?

Users running browsers normally will be always redirected to the https, and modern browsers of all flavours will prevent insecure post requests or cookie responses from secure pages to insecure ones. I've not seen or been able to reproduce insecure login from a regular browser with standard configuration.

Certainly it should, and it does. - That said however - there are some improvements that can be made that I've already been working on. i.e. 80 needs a hard 301 -> 443.

Thank you – but I think the zoom feature of FF is the right solution for me. I didn't try that at first because I thought that zooming would be applied to all pages I go to. But FF seems to remember which zoom factor to use for each forum I visit.
