For Android I can recommend Newpipe (apk download) for Tube viewing. Sometimes *oogle blocks it but then there's a new update coming pretty soon.

The first five days, it was kinda common, open a channel and "no videos here lmao" was quite funny, only way to watch in a stable way for me was to use a VPN yeah

Another alternative to browser-based youtube. Nice gtk interface and is GPL:

Some salvation from *ogle surveillance and maybe a workaround for some blocked content.

Also mpv in conjunction with yt-dlp can stream youtube content directly, if you have the url.

Freetube worked at YT last night.

Was using invidious for a while: https://invidious.io/. If blocked by YT, was easy/quick to change to another invidious instance and watch the video.

Noticed that, too.

Started using freetube last year. YT occasionally blocks it but an updated freetube is available within a day or two to a week. FWIW, it's the same occational YT block/fix for youtubedl-gui.

Invidious used to work great, now it's far less reliable - the big is onto them (and here I also have to deal with the regional blocklist to even get to it).
Previously they nipped Hooktube in the bud, but this one is not going down so easy.

Youtube is a bleeding nightmare to use in my country, but I still manage to access it occasionally.
Sometimes it's the ISP's fault, sometimes the site itself blocks certain videos if you don't have an account, try to watch through embedded link or use a frontend like Invidious.
