(according to Pluma)<br />make that 171 -<br />this is line&#160; 56&#160; -devuan-baseconf:/etc/apt/preferences.d/avoid-systemd<br />&#039;<br />I thought ASCII was going to do away with systemd altogether ??!!<br />there is some work to do --<br />Jessie got rid of systemd as a PID 1 init. -</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Yes, no problem with those files in system except those associated with some essential packages like udev etc not maintained by devuan. I understand now those service files and some zero bite files can be removed if i don&#039;t like &quot;systemd&quot; on my system. As i don&#039;t have package systemd , hope those socket, path files are no longer used by respective packages. Actually /lib/systemd/ is used by few other packages like slim. So i have some doubt before removing.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have a upgraded jessie system, which is working fine for my normal daily use. There are some &#039;/etc/systemd/&#039;, &#039;/var/lib/systemd&#039;, &#039;/lib/systemd/&#039; and &#039;deb-systemd-helper&#039;. Those are associated with package &#039;init-system-helpers&#039;.<br />It seems that those dir/files are actually redundant now and hope will not be included in newly installed system.</p>]]></description>
