			<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;ve tried Ecosia in the past, but not the other two. Ecosia seemed OK, but it was pulling its results straight from Bing, and I like a search engine that does a bit more than just Bing results. DDG works pretty goood for me in that regard. SwissCows.com is another alternative search engine I&#039;ve enjoyed using in the past.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello everybody!</p><p>Stumbled upon a list of eco-friendly search engines <a href="https://ecoripples.com/the-12-best-ecofriendly-search-engines/" rel="nofollow">https://ecoripples.com/the-12-best-ecof … h-engines/</a></p><p>Tried <br />&#039;ecosia&#039;, USA based, donates for tree planting</p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>https://www.ecosia.org/</code></pre></div><p>&#039;rapusia&#039;, South Africa based, donates for children and animals</p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>https://rapusia.org/</code></pre></div><p>&#039;oceanhero&#039;, Germany based, donates for cleaning the ocean from plastic garbage</p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>https://oceanhero.today/</code></pre></div><p>all three worked fine with my primary browser &#039;luakit&#039; <br />while DDG, SearX and StartPage often caused crashes /never liked DDG results anyway/</p><p>&#039;rapusia&#039; guarantees privacy on their front page<br />for the other two I didnt see such announcement</p><p>will test them for a few days to see the results&#039; relevency before choosing one.<br />you can check the full list to see if there is an engine that donates for a cause you believe in.</p>]]></description>
