After starting a session for the first time (using LXQt and Muffin as window manager), I get a message on the bottom right of my monitor complaining about the lack of a battery. Well, why would I have, or need, a battery - on a desktop machine? I don't think I had done anything to indicate the system is a laptop or is otherwise battery-powered.
