Have you checked the cable and/or connector for the drive?

Use smartmontools to check drive health, along with fsck(8) to check the filesystem.

I suppose you could also try rebuilding the initramfs:

# update-initramfs -u -k all

But if it was corrupted in some way then I would expect it to fail consistently.

Fortunately, when the PC is forced to restart, the problem is gone, but I would like to know if someone has the same thing and if it can be solved. Thanks in advance.
