Since a few weeks AVMultimedia also runs on the HDMI sticks from Intel. I tested the two models STK1AW32SC (2GB RAM, 32 GB eMMC, approx. 150 USD) and STK2M364CC (4 GB RAM, 64 GB eMMC, approx. 300 USD) extensively.

The video takes about 3 minutes, the HDMI stick must be empty (if necessary initialize with 'dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=64M count=10').

The whole desktop will be played on the internal disk. Please note that due to the relatively "weak" performance of the eMMC disk, the installation takes about 1 minute.

After the installation the USB stick must be removed. Then it may be necessary to activate the correct partition in the BIOS (F2) so that AVMultimedia boots directly from eMMC.

The smaller stick is very suitable for FullHD, 4K for playback also works. With the bigger stick you can play 4K videos (if you use 'mpv --hwdec=vaapi --vo=vaapi file').

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here.

Link to the video: https://youtu.be/zYiruIEU7R4
