			<description><![CDATA[<p>never had such an issue with MATE - beowulf. <br />using experimental MATE right now, so can&#039;t confirm this.<br />maybe send a bug report with details, ~/.xsession-errors perhaps and whatever related in system logs?</p><p>also did you try using alsamixer from console to see if that&#039;s a pulseaudio-mate thing, or something else?</p>]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[MATE volume control issue (beowulf)]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Running MATE over beowulf, and have been having the following issue for quite some time:</p><p>It involves using the mouse scroll wheel over the volume indicator to adjust volume. It will scroll down (lowering volume), but will only scroll up a few percent before it hits a ceiling (usually 30%). You can scroll down all you want, to zero, but then it will only scroll up to 7% before pegging. So you essentially ratchet down. Everything works as expected in buster, FWIW.</p><p>Any ideas as to what could be causing this?</p><p>TIA</p>]]></description>
