I'm kinda new to Devuan, having recently installed it.

I wrote up some notes on what I did to customize Devuan on my workstation and laptops after the initial installation, but I'm not sure if it's worthwhile to reproduce them here in the forum.

My notes cover the following topics:

  • Upgrading to Testing (Ascii)

  • Installing fonts, themes, and additional software

  • Desktop Performance Improvements

  • Setting up Wifi

  • Improved Font Rendering

  • Improving Firefox

  • Getting the Latest GNU Emacs

This is mainly for my own use, but I hope it might help others. If it doesn't belong here, I won't gripe if an admin wants to move it.
