			<description><![CDATA[<p>not sure where best to post this, so here goes...</p><p>installation of 1.0.0 failed on a new laptop, during the &quot;install grub&quot; phase. took a little bit of time to figure out, but it turns out that this laptop has OsIndicationsSupported efi var of 0x1f, and that bash doesn&#039;t really like &quot;if [ 1f &amp; 1 ]&quot;</p><p>fix was to edit /etc/grub.d/30_uefi-firmware and change the &quot;printf %x&quot; to &quot;printf 0x%x&quot;, though i guess %d would have done the trick also</p><p>just thought i&#039;d mention this in case anyone else trips over it</p>]]></description>
